The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT) and the visiting Valley Regional Warriors (Deep River, CT), observed Old Lyme's basketball team overwhelm Valley Regional by a score of 74-47.
The Wildcats (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cromwell (Cromwell, CT). The Panthers come into the Shoreline challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Cromwell trounced Portland (Portland, CT), 55-53, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Canton Warriors (Canton, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 23. Valley Regional will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 54-46 league win over Somers (Somers, CT).
