The Albert Gallatin Colonials (Uniontown, PA) basketball were winner over the visiting Gateway Gators (Monroeville, PA), 50-30 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Colonials now possess a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Thomas Jefferson for a WPIAL 5A 4 bout on Thursday, January 23. Albert Gallatin will play a Jaguars team coming off a 70-43 league win over Trinity (Washington, PA). The Jaguars record now stands at 12-2.

With the loss, Gateway falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA) to play the Panthers in a WPIAL 5A 1 bout on Thursday, January 23. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Franklin Regional won 47-26 in their recent league bout against Penn Hills (Pittsburgh, PA)
