In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Canby Lancers basketball team scored a good 61-53 win over the Dawson-Boyd Blackjacks.

The Lancers (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg (Kerkhoven, MN). The Fighting Saints come into the non-league contest with a 18-0 record. In their last contest, Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg defeated Yellow Medicine East (Granite Falls, MN), 79-38, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Blackjacks battle the Lakeview Lakers (Cottonwood, MN) in a A Section 3 contest, on Friday, January 24. Dawson-Boyd will attempt to better on its 4-14 season record. The Lakers come into the contest with a 11-5 record after their 66-31 league loss to Central Minnesota Christian (Prinsburg, MN).
