In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Pine City Dragons basketball team scored a big 60-38 triumph over the East Central Eagles.
The Dragons (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Crosby-Ironton (Crosby, MN). The Rangers go into the non-league contest with a 17-0 record. In their last contest, Crosby-Ironton smashed Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] (Isle, MN), 112-36, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Swanville Bulldogs (Swanville, MN) in a A Section 5 contest, on Thursday, January 23. East Central will attempt to better on its 4-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 8-10 record after their 73-37 non-league loss to West Central Area (Barrett, MN).
