Oregon High School Basketball - Powder Valley victorious over Grant Union

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Powder Valley Badgers basketball team scored a good 62-42 triumph over the Grant Union Prospectors.
The Badgers (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Elgin (Elgin, OR). The Huskies go into the 1A Old Oregon contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Elgin topped Wallowa (Wallowa, OR), 42-15, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Prospectors battle the Irrigon Knights (Irrigon, OR) in a 2A Blue Mountain contest, on Friday, January 24. Grant Union will attempt to better on its 7-12 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 3-15 record after their 46-35 non-league loss to Pilot Rock (Pilot Rock, OR).
