Vermont High School Basketball - Twin Valley holds off Green Mountain

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Twin Valley Wildcats basketball team scored a close 29-26 triumph over the Green Mountain Chieftains.
The Wildcats (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Long Trail (Dorset, VT). The go into the Freelance contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Long Trail nipped Leland & Gray (Townshend, VT), 62-22, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Chieftains confront the Woodstock Wasps (Woodstock, VT) in a Marble Valley - C contest, on Thursday, January 23. Green Mountain will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Wasps go into the contest with a 4-7 record after their 67-35 non-league loss to Randolph (Randolph, VT).
