Greenfield-Central Cougars (Greenfield, IN) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Muncie Central Bearcats (Muncie, IN), 61-18 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Greenfield-Central advances its record to 15-5 on the year. The Cougars travel to Mt. Vernon (Fortville, IN) to face the Marauders in a Hoosier Heritage match on Friday, January 24. The Marauders enter the match with a record of 14-6. Mt. Vernon lost 45-42 in their recent non-league match against Mooresville (Mooresville, IN)

The Bearcats now own a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lapel for a non-league match on Thursday, January 23. Muncie Central will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 76-51 non-league loss to Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-8.
