The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Spring Garden Panthers (Spring Garden, AL) and the visiting Hazel Green Trojans (Hazel Green, AL), observed Spring Garden's basketball team overcome Hazel Green by a score of 63-46.
The Panthers (27-1) will now prepare for their challenge against North Sand Mountain (Higdon, AL). The Bison come into the non-league challenge with a 18-8 record. In their last challenge, North Sand Mountain defeated Sylvania (Sylvania, AL), 67-60, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Buckhorn Bucks (New Market, AL) in a 6A Area 16 challenge, on Friday, January 24. Hazel Green will attempt to improve on its 19-8 season record.
