Nebraska High School Basketball - McCook triumphant over Lexington

January 21, 2025: McCook, NE 69001

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the McCook Bison (McCook, NE) and the visiting Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE), observed McCook's basketball team overwhelm Lexington by a score of 60-30.

The Bison (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against North Platte (North Platte, NE). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 3-9 record. In their last challenge, North Platte was routed by Northwest (Grand Island, NE), 47-33, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Minutemen battle the Cozad Haymakers (Cozad, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 23. Lexington will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record. The Haymakers come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 50-30 non-league loss to Amherst (Amherst, NE).
