The North Yarmouth Academy Panthers basketball squad (Yarmouth, ME), was nudged 33-28 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Monmouth Academy Mustangs (Monmouth, ME)
With the victory, Monmouth Academy advances its record to 10-7 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Dirigo (Dixfield, ME) to meet the Cougars in a C South battle on Thursday, January 23. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 10-5. Dirigo won 36-22 in their recent league battle against Sacopee Valley (Cornish, ME)
The Panthers now own a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waynflete for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 23. North Yarmouth Academy will meet a Flyers squad coming off a 49-21 non-league loss to Lake Region (Naples, ME). The Flyers record now stands at 4-9.
