Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Sullivan County trounced by South Williamsport

The Sullivan County Griffins basketball squad (Laporte, PA), was crushed 47-2 in Tuesday's league battle with the host South Williamsport Mountaineers (South Williamsport, PA)

With the victory, South Williamsport advances its record to 7-7 on the year. The Mountaineers travel to Line Mountain (Herndon, PA) to meet the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, January 24. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 6-6.

The Griffins now own a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Meadowbrook Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, January 24. Sullivan County will meet a squad coming off a 35-2 league win over Juniata Christian (McAlisterville, PA). The record now stands at 9-5.
