The St. James Saints (St. James, MN) basketball were winner over the host St. Clair Cyclones (St. Clair, MN), 61-50 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Saints now possess a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Luverne for a AA Section 3 bout on Friday, January 24. St. James will play a Cardinals team coming off a 71-62 league loss to Redwood Valley (Redwood Falls, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-14.
With the loss, St. Clair falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Cyclones host Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN) to play the Knights in a AA Section 2 bout on Thursday, January 23. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 4-11. Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial lost 70-59 in their recent non-league bout against St. James (St. James, MN)
