With the victory, Matoaca advances its record to 5-3 on the year. The Warriors host Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA) to meet the Generals in a non-league battle on Thursday, January 23. The Generals enter the battle with a record of 0-7.
The Eagles now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Freeman for a non-league battle on Friday, January 24. Godwin will play a Mavericks team coming off a 46-28 non-league loss to St. Catherine's (Richmond, VA). The Mavericks record now stands at 4-5.
