In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Clearwater Tornadoes basketball team scored a good 47-35 win over the Boca Ciega Pirates.
The Tornadoes (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Berkeley Prep (Tampa, FL). The Buccaneers come into the non-league contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Berkeley Prep defeated Tampa Catholic (Tampa, FL), 61-49, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Pirates battle the Pinellas Park Patriots (Largo, FL) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 22. Boca Ciega will attempt to better on its 3-12 season record.
