Next, the Lions encounter the Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 23. Lynden will attempt to improve on its 12-0 season record. The Borderites come into the test with a 5-8 record after their 51-39 non-league loss to Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA).

The Trojans (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA). The Cubs come into the non-league test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, Sedro-Woolley was knocked off by Bellingham (Bellingham, WA), 47-39, in a non-league test.
