The Mustangs (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Terry (Rosenberg, TX). The Rangers enter the 5A Region 3 District 20 battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Terry by Kingwood (Kingwood, TX), 1-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Bobcats confront the Royal Falcons (Brookshire, TX) in a 4A Region 3 District 20 battle, on Friday, January 24. Hempstead will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 5-3 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Needville (Needville, TX).
