In Saturday's non-league outing, the Tri-Valley Scotties (Dresden, OH) basketball squad edged the visiting Granville Blue Aces (Granville, OH), by a count of 38-34.
The Scotties (10-3) will now prepare for their outing against West Muskingum (Zanesville, OH). The Tornadoes go into the Muskingum Valley outing with a 7-7 record. In their last outing, West Muskingum held off Horizon Science Academy (Columbus, OH), 64-60, in a non-league outing.
The Blue Aces now hold a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Northridge for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 25. Granville will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 68-63 non-league win over Licking Valley (Newark, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 9-3.
