South Dakota High School Basketball - Hanson knocked off by Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven]

The Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Hanson Beavers to 59 in the Battlers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Battlers now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Faith for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 25. Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] will battle a Longhorns team coming off a 54-47 non-league loss to Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD). The Longhorns record now stands at 6-4.

The Beavers (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (Forestburg, SD). The Rebels enter the A Region 5 contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket was defeated by Highmore/Harrold (Highmore, SD), 47-32, in a non-league contest.
