In Saturday's non-league outing, the Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) basketball squad nipped the host Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL), by a margin of 40-35.
The Porters (12-8) will now prepare for their outing against Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL). The Raiders go into the SouthWest Suburban - Blue outing with a 17-6 record. In their last outing, Bolingbrook got by Joliet West (Joliet, IL), 73-53, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Joliet West for a SouthWest Prairie test on Tuesday, January 25. Plainfield North will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 73-53 non-league loss to Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 10-11.
