The Montrose Meteors (Montrose, PA) basketball crushed the host North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA), 46-23 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Meteors (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA). The Crusaders go into the non-league test with a 4-5 record.
The Trojans now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Western Wayne for a Lackawanna 2 test on Wednesday, January 26. North Pocono will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 66-53 league win over Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-2.
