Village Christian Crusaders (Sun Valley, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Providence Pioneers (Burbank, CA), 68-63 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Village Christian upgrades its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Heritage Christian (Northridge, CA) to play the Warriors in a bout on Tuesday, January 25. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 5-4.

Next up, the Pioneers play the Rio Hondo Prep Kares (Arcadia, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 25. Providence will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Kares come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 63-28 league loss to Providence (Burbank, CA).
