St. Francis Prep Terriers (Fresh Meadows, NY) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting St. Peter's Eagles (Staten Island, NY), 61-51 in a league bout.
With the win, St. Francis Prep upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Terriers travel to Bishop Loughlin (Brooklyn, NY) to clash with the Lions in a Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Bishop Loughlin lost 83-70 in their recent non-league bout against Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, NY)
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Christ the King Royals (Middle Village, NY) in a Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens bout, on Wednesday, January 25. St. Peter's will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record.
