Washington, DC High School Basketball - St. Anselm's Abbey knocked off by Avalon

The Avalon Black Knights basketball team scored 71 points and held the host St. Anselm's Abbey Panthers to 62 in the Black Knights non-league triumph on Monday.
The Black Knights now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. James for a Mid-Atlantic contest on Wednesday, January 24. Avalon will meet a Saints team coming off a 76-28 league loss to Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC). The Saints record now stands at 2-12.
The Panthers (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Washington Waldorf (Bethesda, MD). The enter the Potomac Valley contest with a 4-4 record.
