Barrington Eagles (Barrington, RI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI), 61-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Barrington upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Eagles host Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI) to play the Hawks in a Division 1 bout on Friday, January 26. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Bishop Hendricken won 73-59 in their recent league bout against Central (Providence, RI)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the East Providence Townies (East Providence, RI) in a Division 1 bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Westerly will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Townies go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 58-52 league loss to Cumberland (Cumberland, RI).
