Battle Ground Tigers (Battle Ground, WA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Mountain View Thunder (Vancouver, WA), 84-64 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Battle Ground upgrades its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Tigers host Kelso (Kelso, WA) to play the Hilanders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Hilanders come into the bout with a record of 10-3. Kelso won 81-57 in their recent league bout against Prairie (Vancouver, WA)

Next up, the Thunder play the Prairie Falcons (Vancouver, WA) in a 3A Greater St. Helens bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Mountain View will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 81-57 league loss to Kelso (Kelso, WA).
