In Monday's non-league outing, the Beulah Bobcats (Valley, AL) basketball squad edged the visiting Wadley Bulldogs (Wadley, AL), by a count of 53-51.
The Bobcats (8-7) will now prepare for their outing against Randolph County (Wedowee, AL). The Tigers go into the 3A Area 8 outing with a 7-10 record. In their last outing, Randolph County held off Ranburne (Ranburne, AL), 54-51, in a non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now hold a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Winterboro for a 1A Area 8 outing on Tuesday, January 23. Wadley will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 46-38 league win over Donoho (Anniston, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-7.
