The Blanchet Catholic Cavaliers basketball team (Salem, OR), was overwhelmed 74-28 in Monday's league battle with the host Western Christian Pioneers (Salem, OR)
The Pioneers now possess a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Delphian for a 2A Tri-River battle on Wednesday, January 24.
The Cavaliers (4-12) will now prepare for their battle against Santiam (Mill City, OR). The Wolverines come into the 2A Tri-River battle with a 9-8 record. In their last battle, Santiam trounced Colton (Colton, OR), 73-62, in a league battle.
