The Boonton Bombers basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Whippany Park Wildcats to 61 in the Bombers league victory on Monday.
The Bombers now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dover for a Northwest Jersey - Independence contest on Wednesday, January 24. Boonton will battle a Tigers team coming off a 73-56 non-league loss to Mountain Lakes (Mountain Lakes, NJ). The Tigers record now stands at 6-8.
The Wildcats (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Madison (Madison, NJ). The Dodgers come into the non-league contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Madison was nudged by Morris Catholic (Denville, NJ), 73-35, in a non-league contest.
