The Christian Liberty Academy Canefire tipped the visiting St. Joseph Cardinals basketball team by a final score of 53-46 in Monday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Canefire encounter the Pahoa Daggers (Pahoa, HI) in a Big Island - East test, on Saturday, January 27. Christian Liberty Academy will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Daggers go into the test with a 6-4 record after their 68-45 league loss to Kamehameha Hawai'i (Kea'au, HI).

The Cardinals now own a 0-10 record. They play next when they travel to Waiakea for a non-league test on Friday, January 26. St. Joseph will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 50-18 non-league loss to Kohala (Kapaau, HI). The Warriors record now stands at 3-8.
