Lutheran Northwest Crusaders (Rochester Hills, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Clawson Trojans (Clawson, MI), 58-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lutheran Northwest upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Clarenceville (Livonia, MI) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 3-6.

Next up, the Trojans play the Clintondale Dragons (Clinton Township, MI) in a Macomb Area - Bronze bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Clawson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 12-2 record after their 56-51 league win over Lamphere (Madison Heights, MI).
