Elm Creek Buffaloes (Elm Creek, NE) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Kenesaw Blue Devils (Kenesaw, NE), 56-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Elm Creek upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Buffaloes travel to Ravenna (Ravenna, NE) to play the Bluejays in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Bluejays go into the bout with a record of 4-10. Ravenna won 33-23 in their recent league bout against Arcadia/Loup City (Arcadia, NE)
Next up, the Blue Devils play the Deshler Dragons (Deshler, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. Kenesaw will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 47-30 non-league win over Superior (Superior, NE).
