California High School Basketball - University Prep nudges Eureka

January 22, 2024: Eureka, CA 95501

In Monday's non-league outing, the University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA) basketball squad edged the host Eureka Loggers (Eureka, CA), by a count of 65-59.

The Panthers (14-8) will now prepare for their outing against Anderson (Anderson, CA). The Cubs go into the Northern outing with a 6-15 record. In their last outing, Anderson held off Central Valley (Shasta Lake, CA), 63-26, in a league outing.

The Loggers now hold a 12-10 record. They play next when they host Del Norte for a Humboldt-Del Norte - Big 5 outing on Wednesday, January 24. Eureka will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 41-39 league win over McKinleyville (McKinleyville, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 8-12.
