The Fullington Academy Trojans basketball team (Pinehurst, GA), dropped 75-55 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Tiftarea Academy Panthers (Chula, GA)

The Panthers now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Terrell Academy for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 battle on Tuesday, January 23. Tiftarea Academy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 48-45 league win over Valwood (Valdosta, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-8.

The Trojans (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Grace Christian Academy (Bainbridge, GA). The Cougars come into the GIAA A Region 3 battle with a 4-9 record. In their last battle, Grace Christian Academy dropped by Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus, GA), 64-45, in a non-league battle.
