In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Great Mills Hornets basketball team scored a good 60-44 triumph over the Oakland Mills Scorpions.
In their next game, the Hornets meet the Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) in a Southern Maryland match, on Wednesday, January 24. Great Mills will attempt to better on its 10-3 season record. The Chargers enter the match with a 10-4 record after their 53-46 league win over La Plata (La Plata, MD).
