The Hedgesville Eagles (Hedgesville, WV) basketball crushed the visiting Millbrook Pioneers (Winchester, VA), 46-23 in Monday's non-league test.
The Eagles (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Washington (Charles Town, WV). The Patriots go into the Eastern Panhandle test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Washington walloped Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD), 57-55, in a non-league test.
The Pioneers now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Skyline for a Northwestern test on Tuesday, January 23. Millbrook will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 75-66 league loss to Handley (Winchester, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 11-4.
