Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Sigourney Savages (Sigourney, IA) and the visiting Highland Huskies (Riverside, IA), saw Sigourney's basketball squad wallop Highland by a tally of 64-29.

With the victory, Sigourney improves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Savages host Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA) to play the Plainsmen in a South Iowa Cedar challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Plainsmen come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Belle Plaine won 71-31 in their recent league challenge against English Valleys (North English, IA)

Next up, the Huskies play the WACO Warriors (Wayland, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Highland will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 81-34 non-league win over Columbus (Columbus Junction, IA).
