The St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays basketball team (Eunice, LA), dropped 57-39 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Iota Bulldogs (Iota, LA)
The Bulldogs now possess a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Church Point for a 3A District 4 battle on Tuesday, January 23.
The Fighting Blue Jays (6-10) will now prepare for their battle against Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA). The Hornets come into the 1A District 6 battle with a 7-9 record. In their last battle, Catholic of Pointe Coupee dropped by Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA), 54-46, in a league battle.
