Michigan High School Basketball - Marine City knocked off by Lutheran North

January 22, 2024: Marine City, MI 48039

The Lutheran North Mustangs basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Marine City Mariners to 41 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Monday.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Divine Child for a Catholic AA contest on Thursday, January 25. Lutheran North will battle a Falcons team coming off a 91-61 non-league loss to Richard (Riverview, MI). The Falcons record now stands at 3-8.

The Mariners (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Marysville (Marysville, MI). The Vikings enter the Macomb Area - Silver contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Marysville ran past Madison (Madison Heights, MI), 52-32, in a league contest.
