The Mackinaw City Comets basketball team (Mackinaw City, MI), was overwhelmed 74-29 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Rudyard Bulldogs (Rudyard, MI)

The Bulldogs now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedarville for a Eastern Upper Peninsula battle on Friday, January 26. Rudyard will battle a Trojans team coming off a 62-43 non-league win over Maplewood Baptist Academy (Kinross, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 6-7.

The Comets (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Onaway (Onaway, MI). The Cardinals come into the non-league battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Onaway trounced Pellston (Pellston, MI), 69-48, in a league battle.
