Paint Branch Panthers (Burtonsville, MD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD), 78-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Paint Branch upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Blair (Silver Spring, MD) to play the Blazers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Blazers go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Blair lost 66-47 in their recent non-league bout against Wootton (Rockville, MD)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Einstein Titans (Kensington, MD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Walter Johnson will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 65-50 non-league loss to Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD).
