The Woodbury Central Wildcats basketball team (Moville, IA), was nudged 49-45 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Trinity Christian Tigers (Hull, IA)

The Tigers now possess a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gehlen Catholic for a War Eagle battle on Tuesday, January 23. Trinity Christian will battle a Jays team coming off a 68-28 non-league loss to Western Christian (Hull, IA). The Jays record now stands at 6-7.

The Wildcats (3-14) will now prepare for their battle against Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove (Ida Grove, IA). The Falcons come into the Western Valley - North battle with a 5-9 record. In their last battle, Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove was nudged by Riverside (Oakland, IA), 58-46, in a non-league battle.
