Beverly Panthers (Beverly, MA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Saugus Sachems (Saugus, MA), 79-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Beverly upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Peabody Veterans Memorial (Peabody, MA) to play the Tanners in a bout on Thursday, January 25. The Tanners go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Sachems play the Winthrop Vikings (Winthrop, MA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. Saugus will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
