The Benzie Central Huskies basketball team scored 33 points and held the visiting St. Francis Gladiators to 22 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Monday.
The Huskies now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buckley for a Northwest contest on Wednesday, January 24. Benzie Central will battle a Bears team coming off a 65-41 league loss to Onekama (Onekama, MI). The Bears record now stands at 5-6.
The Gladiators (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Elk Rapids (Elk Rapids, MI). The Elks enter the Lake Michigan contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Elk Rapids ran past Kalkaska (Kalkaska, MI), 65-32, in a league contest.
