Florida High School Basketball - Countryside crushes Hollins

January 22, 2024: St. Petersburg, FL 33709

Countryside Cougars (Clearwater, FL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hollins Royals (St. Petersburg, FL), 51-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Countryside upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Cougars host Clearwater (Clearwater, FL) to clash with the Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 11-5. Clearwater won 56-25 in their recent non-league bout against East Lake (Tarpon Springs, FL)

Next up, the Royals clash with the Admiral Farragut BlueJackets (St. Petersburg, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Hollins will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The BlueJackets go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 57-41 non-league loss to Northside Christian (St. Petersburg, FL).
