In Monday's league outing, the Shenendehowa Plainsmen (Clifton Park, NY) basketball squad felled the visiting Guilderland Flying Dutchmen (Guilderland Center, NY), by a margin of 63-43.

The Plainsmen (13-1) will now prepare for their outing against Saratoga Springs (Saratoga Springs, NY). The Blue Streaks go into the Section 2 Suburban outing with a 3-11 record. In their last outing, Saratoga Springs thwarted Troy (Troy, NY), 66-45, in a league outing.

The Flying Dutchmen now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they host Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake for a Section 2 Suburban outing on Wednesday, January 24. Guilderland will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 61-39 league loss to Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 5-8.
