In Monday's non-league outing, the Herreid/Selby Wolverines (Herreid, SD) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] Mustangs (Wishek, ND), by a count of 69-33.
The Wolverines (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Ipswich (Ipswich, SD). The Tigers go into the B Region 6 outing with a 1-10 record. In their last outing, Ipswich was crushed by Faulkton (Faulkton, SD), 45-31, in a league outing.
The Mustangs now hold a 2-14 record. They play next when they host Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock for a B District 2 outing on Tuesday, January 23. South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 43-36 league win over LaMoure/Litchville-Marion (LaMoure, ND). The Lions record now stands at 10-4.
