Kentucky High School Basketball - Wayne County overwhelmed by Knox Central

The Knox Central Panthers basketball team scored 82 points and restricted the host Wayne County Cardinals to 53 in the Panthers non-league victory on Monday.
The Panthers now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jackson County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Knox Central will battle a Generals team coming off a 54-49 league loss to North Laurel (London, KY). The Generals record now stands at 11-6.
The Cardinals (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against McCreary Central (Stearns, KY). The Raiders come into the District 48 contest with a 6-9 record.
