The Notre Dame Academy Regal Gryphons (Los Angeles, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Laguna Beach Breakers (Laguna Beach, CA), 49-32 in Monday's non-league test.
The Regal Gryphons (19-5) will now prepare for their test against Marymount (Los Angeles, CA). The Sailors go into the Angelus test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, Marymount notched a victory over Immaculate Heart (Los Angeles, CA), 41-39, in a league test.
The Breakers now own a 7-16 record. They play next when they travel to Edison for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 23. Laguna Beach will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 59-38 non-league loss to Marina (Huntington Beach, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 6-18.
