Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Steubenville Big Red (Steubenville, OH) and the visiting Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV), saw Steubenville's basketball squad overcome Linsly by a tally of 65-48.
With the victory, Steubenville improves its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Big Red host Weir (Weirton, WV) to confront the Red Riders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Red Riders come into the challenge with a record of 7-8. Weir lost 49-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Dover (Dover, OH)
Next up, the Cadets confront the Shenandoah Zeps (Sarahsville, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 24. Linsly will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Zeps come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 71-60 non-league win over Philo (Duncan Falls, OH).
