The St. John-Vianney Lancers basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Long Branch Green Wave to 35 in the Lancers non-league victory on Monday.
The Lancers now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Freehold Boro for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. St. John-Vianney will battle a Colonials team coming off a 53-28 non-league win over Henry Hudson (Highlands, NJ). The Colonials record now stands at 4-9.
The Green Wave (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Point Pleasant Beach (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ). The Garnet Gulls come into the non-league contest with a 6-8 record.
